Further on, theres a traditional tea room, and then down the hill theres a little teahouse where you can get the whole traditional tea ceremony- whipped green tea, called Omacha, and a little sweetcake for 500 yen- five dollars, for some kinda bitter tea and a little candybar. Im a sucker. So is my coordinator. The individual elements dont sound so awesome online, but I assure you that the experience was worth all I paid and more. It was the most serene cup of tea Ive ever had, green or otherwise.
